Global Omni-Shopper Marketing Manager
Role overview
This role will report to the Category and Shopper Director, in Global Commercial Excellence (GCE), while working closely with Strategic Insight, Category Development and RGM teams, and shopper agencies at Global level. The role will also imply very close relationship with Market Strategy Planners, and Shopper Marketeers in the regions.
The core priorities of this role are:
- To build and lead WaterWipes 5P (*) omni-channel activation strategy (bringing Category Strategy live instore/digital shelf, with WaterWipes in a central role)
- To develop best-in-class omni-shopper experience strategy, with particular focus on the digital shelf content strategy across all online sales models (pure play or omni-retailers)
It will be equally important to lead and influence internally to instil an omni-store excellence obsession.
The role will require having superior strategic big picture thinking, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally and effectively influence a variety of stakeholders.
*5P stands for: Presence, Placement, Promo, Price and Point-of-Purchase
What you will be doing
- Define and regularly finetune Perfect 5P Omni-Store execution principles and kpis to guide commercial teams/distributors, when engaging retailers on driving WaterWipes Presence, Placement, Promotion, Pricing and Point-of-Purchase (in Baby / non-baby adjacent categories, across all channels)
- Lead Perfect 5P Omni-Store evaluation & finetuning through syndicated / distributor/ retailer data & insight.
- Develop scorecards to monitor performance internally and to engage externally with distributors and retailers
- Champion annual deployment of Perfect 5P Omni-store. Become a trusted guardian of their implementation through the distributors and integrated in retailer JPBs and annual plan negotiations
- Support regional commercial teams on retailers engagement about 5Ps and omni-channel strategy
- Elevate Category and 5Ps thought leadership and expertise in the business
- Define and drive a digital shelf content strategy which embeds all different online sales models
- Design annual omni-shopper content plan, founded in brand comm strategy and customising it to maximise conversion
- Build and lead an operating framework with brand, account and shopper marketing teams to develop and implement effectively digital shelf content
- In conjunction with a global shopper marketing agency, develop global digital content/ activation programs/campaigns/POP materials (founded in strong shopper insights and WaterWipes uniqueness and superiority) and influence its implementation across markets
- Leverage shopper data and insights to develop an omni-channel strategy that expands brand presence to more shoppers, in more spaces
- Deliver timely to regional sales teams / distributors, required supportive materials/toolkits to sell in WaterWipes innovation, product new news, trade strategies, etc
- Interface regularly with regional key stakeholders to support on customer planning, monitor instore performance, identify needs/opportunities to grow penetration, etc
- Partner Global Brand and Regions to bring omni-shopper centricity to company’s innovation, growth planning and strategy review processes
- Work with Revenue Growth Management team to drive profitable growth initiatives

Experience and Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level.
- Minimum 7 years of FMCG trade/shopper marketing and omni-channel experience.
- Digital Shelf fluency and understanding of omni-shopper content fundamentals required
- Multi-market experience is a plus.
- Proven record of developing category shopper activation strategies and effectively influencing internally and externally on their implementation.
- Strong Commercial background, understanding what entails to win in omni-retail, with a triple retailer, consumer and shopper centric approach
- Experience of managing and delivering a portfolio of projects to tight deadlines
- Experience of working in a matrix, multicultural environment and on remote
- Fluent user of NIQ, Kantar, Profitero, etc
