WaterWipes is recruiting several permanent Maintenance Technicians to support our growing manufacturing operations in Drogheda. As we continue to expand, we are looking for talented maintenance professionals who thrive on troubleshooting equipment, improving reliability, and keeping production running at its best.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work across mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, partnering closely with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to deliver world-class operational performance. Every day brings a new challenge, from fault-finding and preventative maintenance to continuous improvement initiatives that help drive efficiency across the site.

What You'll Be Accountable For

• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults across manufacturing and site equipment.

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.

• Supporting production teams by responding efficiently to breakdowns and minimising operational disruption.

• Troubleshooting automated production systems, sensors, drives, motors, control systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Contributing to root cause analysis investigations and implementing corrective actions.

• Identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Maintaining accurate maintenance records through CMMS systems.

• Supporting equipment installations, upgrades, commissioning activities, and site improvement projects.

• Ensuring all maintenance activities comply with Health & Safety, GMP, and engineering best practice standards.

Who This Role Is For

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy solving technical problems, working hands-on with complex equipment, and making a visible impact on operational performance.

You'll likely bring:

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer, or similar role within manufacturing.

• A qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Maintenance Engineering.

• Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.

• Experience maintaining production machinery, conveyors, pumps, motors, pneumatic systems, and automated equipment.

• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and equipment reliability.

• The ability to work effectively within a shift-based manufacturing environment.
