Engineering Project Coordinator
The Opportunity
This is a maternity cover opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of WaterWipes' Engineering capital investment programme and site improvement projects. Working at the centre of project activity, you will help bring structure, visibility and momentum to a wide range of engineering initiatives across our manufacturing operation.
You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and external suppliers, ensuring projects stay organised, actions are followed through, and stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, risks and timelines.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, keeping teams aligned and ensuring projects are delivered in a disciplined and structured way. While larger and more complex CAPEX projects remain under the leadership of the Engineering Manager and Contract Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting successful project delivery across the site.
What You'll Be Accountable For
You will coordinate the administration, governance and reporting of engineering projects and the wider CAPEX portfolio. Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining project trackers, CAPEX registers and project documentation.
Coordinating project meetings, stakeholder reviews and status updates.
Tracking actions, risks, milestones, budgets and timelines.
Preparing governance reports, meeting packs and approval documentation.
Supporting procurement activities, supplier follow-up and purchase requisition tracking.
Monitoring project expenditure and escalating variances where required.
Coordinating contractor onboarding, permits, site access and project logistics.
Supporting project handovers, close-out activities and lessons learned reviews.
Assisting with KPI reporting, continuous improvement initiatives and action tracking.
Providing clear and accurate project information to stakeholders across the business.
Who This Role Is For
This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure and organisation to complex activities.
You may currently be working as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Engineering Administrator, Manufacturing Support Coordinator or in a similar project support role within a technical, engineering or manufacturing environment.
You will enjoy working across different functions, managing competing priorities and ensuring commitments are followed through to completion.
What Will Make You Successful Here
You will bring at least two years' experience within project coordination, engineering administration, project support, manufacturing support or a similar environment.
You will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
You will be confident communicating with stakeholders across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance, and you'll know how to follow up effectively to keep actions moving forward.
Experience supporting CAPEX, maintenance, facilities or continuous improvement projects would be advantageous, as would familiarity with ERP systems, project management tools or purchasing processes.
Most importantly, you will take ownership, remain proactive and bring a practical, solution-focused approach to supporting project delivery.
Why Join WaterWipes

About WaterWipes
WaterWipes® was created by our founder Edward McCloskey after his newborn daughter developed a nappy rash on her sensitive skin. After an extensive search he couldn’t find a baby wipe that didn’t contain numerous ingredients, so he decided to make his own. Many years later and after a lot of hard work, testing, and scientific research, WaterWipes® was born. Pure and gentle for the most delicate skin but in the convenience of a baby wipe, WaterWipes® are purer than cotton wool and water. Every day, parents around the world are discovering the benefits of our gentle and effective WaterWipes® for their baby’s skin. We hope you like them too.
